I took a Lifeguarding Instructor course with Aquatic Solutions this weekend and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of training they provide. The class was challenging but the Instructor Trainers (Oscar, Jake, and Andy) kept us motivated and gave great feedback to the candidates during our practice teaching assignments. They clearly followed the Red Cross protocol and did not cut any corners. Highly recommend!

I took a CPR class here today. Jeremy was great. He knows his stuff and explains everything clearly. I’ve been taking CPR for a dozen years, and this was one of the most practical, realistic classes I’ve taken.
When you walk by outside, it just looks like an apartment complex, not a business. I thought I was surely in the wrong place. But once you enter the courtyard, there’s an entrance to building with an indoor swimming pool. The classrooms are in the same building as the pool.
The course was highly educational, informational and practical. Many thanks to our instructor Jeremy. His calm, professional demeanor, coupled with his keen sense of humor, made the course effectively efficient and easy to do. He nicely combined audio visual aids and hands on activities, all the while promoting strict Covid protocols. As a former instructor, I saw his experience and expertise radiate through his presence, delivery and content. I hate to say it, but before coming to Aquatic solutions I was skeptical… after the course, I feel confident I can perform the emergency task when needed, all the thanks go to Jeremy….

Jeremy did an amazing, quick, effective, and efficient class for my job required CPR training. He was well spoken, very informative and wasted no time. Great COVID-19 protocols in place to keep everyone safe. Would recommend to anyone needing CPR/AED/First Aid training.
My son completed lifeguard certification with Aquatic Solutions. They offer a blended course option in which you take part of the course online and then the skills part in person. This was a good option during Covid times when you need to social distance. It also allowed for him to review the online materials at his own pace. The in person skills training was thorough and informative. If you did not understand something the instructors, who were all very patient, either explained it again or gave you the ability to redo a skills portion if necessary. He will be back for his recertification when the time comes!
CPR/First Aid training was great, very comprehensive. Yuraici was awesome – she made it serious and fun at the same time.

Took the BLS provider course online and went in for the skills session with Yuraisis. It was a great class. She was very patient and of course (as expected) knowledgeable. You will leave certified from either listening and following directions or because she took a little extra time to work with you. Still didn’t leave with certification? Thats on you, and know that she did her job to standards!

Outstanding class taught by a phenomenal instructor! Yuraisi was not only extremely knowledgeable, she was also engaging, patient, and super friendly. As a teacher myself, I always appreciate high-quality instruction that not only educates, but also does so in a fun, and efficient manner. Yuraisi knocked it out of the park! I took the blended (on-line plus classroom) course with my 15 year old son. The on-site portion was very well done. Rosalia was relatable, interesting, well versed, efficient and fun. Everyone in the class seemed comfortable asking questions, practicing and eager to participate. And I am so happy I am certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR and First Aid. And less than a week later I helped a young man with his unresponsive brother who was locked in a bathroom. I did not need to administer CPR or First Aid but as soon as I informed the brother I was certified he was willing to use the help. I used the acronym SAMPLE to obtain information about his brother to relay to the 911 operator and EMS responders. Thank you Rosalia – you were a great teacher and confidence builder!

My daughter took the babysitting class today at the downtown Manhattan location. Man, she can’t stop raving about the class. She’s pretty young, so it’s the first time she’s ever taken a one-day course of any kind. It’s a pretty long day, 9am – 4pm, and yet, she says it went by quickly.
At about noon, the instructors took the kids to a pizza place just down the block. I spoke with a few of the workers from Aquatic Solutions, and they’re really good, well-meaning employees.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a babysitting class, but my daughter is even more enthused than she was before it, so I’m happy. Money very well spent. Now if she’d only stop blabbing about all of these babysitting techniques and stuff, maybe I could get some work done!

I did the hybrid CPR/EAD with John and it was really great! It was my 4th time re-certifying and John made the process interesting, thorough and easy! I love that the Red Cross has the option to do half online at home and do the hands on training in person. You will spend about 1-1.5 hour on your computer and then about 1 hour in person. It’s a great format for people who have done it a few times, or those who do not have too much free time. Working with Aquatic Solution was great and John is a superb instructor!

I just took my adult CPR class with Anthony. He conducted a great class. It was concise but thorough!! He was friendly, professional, & created a comfortable environment making it easy to ask questions. I’m glad I decided to take my CPR class here & I will probably be back once it’s time to renew.

I took the Adult CPR/AED class on a Saturday Morning with the Instructor Anthony Jess Jordan. I needed this class for my NASM certification exam. The class was fun, interactive, and was definitely more enjoyable than the 3 hour snooze fest I was anticipating. I can see why they are the top Red Cross CPR providers!

I was recommended by a friend to get certified here at Aquatic Solutions and did their blended package. You take the online course and then go in for an hour of hands-on practice. The instructor for the day was Shirley Look. She was very meticulous and made sure we understood why we did certain things. She made us feel comfortable to learn something new but strict to ensure we know the techniques and to do them properly. It was a great class!

Irene is the best!!!!!! Took a CPR/AED/First Aid certification course here and it was great. The instructor was wonderful and we had a blast during the class. I left feeling confident that I could use the skills I learned here should I ever be in a situation where they are needed. If you can get Irene you won’t be disappointed!

After procrastinating, I finally signed up to renew my BLS for Healthcare Providers this past week. We all know taking a mandatory course can feel endless and super boring. My instructor was Jeremy! Jeremy did a great job keeping everybody in the class engaged. His ability to deliver life-saving skills in a clear and practical way along with hands-on training makes me feel confident that individuals taking this course would actually know what to do in a given situation. Upon being asked about his own personal experience, he shared a story about the first time he performed CPR. He stresses the importance of not over thinking and keeping calm. I’m sure all of the other instructors are just as great as Jeremy, but this was definitely a great hands-on experience! The environment of this facility was welcoming. I would definitiely go back here for my recertification!

I loved the CPR class I took with Aquatic Solutions — Yuriasi and Jeremy were FANTASTIC instructors! They shared so much helpful information and taught us so much — and they were also so funny and playful (and, of course, extremely knowledgable). Everyone in the class had a wonderful time and learned so much. I’m so pleasantly surprised that getting my CPR/First Aid certificate was this much fun.
They’re really terrific teachers, and it was such a treat to learn with them. I highly recommend this class!

Today, my 13 year old son and I renewed our CPR / AED / First Aid Certification, with Jeremy Hernandez as our teacher. This is about the fourth time in 10 years I have taken such a class, though the first time at this location. It was the second time for my son. We both agreed it was waaay more comprehensive, entertaining, and educational than the prior class, most of that is due to the exemplary teaching of Jeremy. He was thorough, efficient, and covered everything, but also down to earth in being very matter of fact about what sort of situations could arise. He was also pretty funny at times, which was a welcome relief considering the rather grim scenarios we were studying. I should add he was very open to any sort of questions, plus was diplomatic and gracious in explaining to my 13 y.o. son how to proceed with certain situations (everyone else in the class was an adult). I would absolutely recommend taking the course at this location if you can possibly arrange for Jeremy as your teacher. (FYI: Our GoogleMap was way off base in providing directions to the site from the closest subway, so definitely allow yourself extra time to get there.) Why take this course? Once my son started swimming and diving on teams, I became a certified lifeguard; once he was old enough to take the Red Class courses, we started doing it together. Actually, I think EVERYONE ought to take these courses, since the world might be a kinder and gentler place if more people did.

I got my Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification here and I am so glad I chose this place to get it. My instructor, Irene, was incredible and made the class engaging and educating. You can tell that she is an expert First Aid responder and teacher. She is also a wonderful person! I highly recommend getting your CPR certification here.

I took the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers this past Saturday with Jeremy. I can honestly say that having taken previous classes for these skills, I left the class more confident in my abilities than ever before. I don’t believe that extra feeling of confidence is owed to repetition, as much as it owed to the instructor, Jeremy’s ability to present these life saving skills in a practical, very hands-on, and meaningful way. With the small class size we were able to practice different emergency responder roles, in several rounds of an emergency CPR scenario. I’ve never had the opportunity to do this before, and it really helped build confidence in real-life application of these skills. Throughout the class Jeremy provided his own anecdotes on providing BLS, and they were educational, interesting, and for me, they really reinforced the difference that I could make if I’m prepared to provide these life-saving skills myself.
